The clean up of Diana Lake rec site is well underway and even though the park is closed for the season, it is great to see improvement so that is is ready for public use and beach access this coming spring. This clean up was funded by Ridley Terminals Inc. with project management by BC Parks and support from our neighbors at the City of Prince Rupert as well. A real team effort! Thanks to all.

Northern Health, on behalf of our staff and physicians, is reminding residents to adhere to the new provincial health orders and guidelines as we experience gro...wing COVID-19 activity. With more frequent cases and clusters, as well as increasing hospitalizations, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has issued strong orders and guidelines in an effort to address the surge in cases. The North is not exempt from the increase in COVID-19 activity and hospitalization rates, and we want to reinforce Dr. Henry's call to act appropriately. We have held off on the Public Hearing for the re-zoning due to COVID-19 but please stay tuned for more details.
