We recently started a 4.8km fencing project to create a new pasture and add to our rotational grazing practice. With care and precision, we were able to mulc...h a 16’ swath around the perimeter and preserve natural forest habitat, which bison use for shelter in summer and wintertime. The powerful machine operated by Diversified forestry inc that traced and cleared a path also left behind a rich topsoil layer, ready for fencing and seeding! // Nous avons récemment entamé un projet de clôture de 4,8 km pour créer un nouveau pâturage et ajouter à notre pratique de rotation de pâturage. Avec soin et précision, nous avons pu délimiter le périmètre du terrain et préserver l'habitat forestier, que les bisons utilisent comme abri été comme hiver. La puissante machine tout-terrain qui nous a permis de tracer et de dégager un chemin a également laissé derrière elle une riche couche de terre organique, prête à être ensemencée et clôturée!
