Investments in fossil fuels take us down a path of climate ruin. Whether it’s universities, banks or any other group, it’s not an investment if it wrecks the climate. Columbia Divests!!!! That means their 11 BILLION (with a B) endowment is now effectively fossil fuel free. Huge congrats to these organizers who made it all happen. Dalhousie University Continues to invest in fossil fuels - putting at risk the future of all Dal students. The time to divest was six years ago, but there will never be a better time than now!

Big news out of Thunder Bay today! Fossil Free Lakehead has won! Their board of governors votes to divest of fossil fuels by end of 2023. Dalhousie unfortunately continues to invest in oil, coal, and gas - not to mention weapons, and private prisons. Get in touch if you want to put some pressure on Dal. Join us.
