Ive had a few people come in for a free skin consultation wondering what this means when your skin looks like this... Its MELASMA. Basically the only way to treat melasma is to get IPL treatments. I am going to be a bit vulnerable here and show you what my skin was like back in November and change it went through in just few months. Since then ive done Microneedling, chemical peels and IPL to help clear up the Residual scarring but my Severe acne was being caused by internal issues mostly hormones and inflammatory diet. It was absolutely horrible and it did get worse before i got really serious about finding out what i was doing in my life for my skin to freak out like... this. Here are some key reasons your Acne might NOT be clearing up. 1. You arent using the right products for your acne type. Not all acne is the same and different types require different ingredients and formulations. This is why many skincare kits are a waste of money.
