At our recent Design Chicago virtual panel, we had 3 Chicago area designers participate in a virtual panel themed "Creative Musings with Flooring". Designer Brynn Olson @brynnolsondesigngroup created this beautiful flatlay using our Montpellier Parquet from our Louis XIV collection. She predicts that in light of the events of 2020, creating a resort like atmosphere in the home will be a hot focus of 2021. ... For bathrooms, in particular, we’ll see greater investments in more intricate, luxury materials as well as a demand cozy and comfortability in the coming year. A return of wood in the bathroom has been a trend as seen in recent years as seen in the personal residences of Athena Calderone, Jenna Lyons and Nate Berkus evoking a nostalgia for classic, timeless European interiors. Very happy to have donated vinyl plank flooring for this community initiative. The Cabins at Yowochas offer a safe and affordable refuge for those wanting to connect with nature. All proceeds from the cabin rentals help support Camp Yowochas, a year-round outdoor education centre established in 1916 on Treaty Six territory. Camp Yowochas is operated by YWCA Edmonton, which helps vulnerable women and families in the community. Edmonton designer and artist Justine Ma decorated the cabins - she is known for her unique creative style and community oriented personality.
