Great Toronto local indie band Alter Kakers(pronounced kuckers) play earthy earnest roots rock. Founding members Steve Bronstein(Guitar) & Cary Covair(Bass) along with drummer Dan Barsi and lead vocalist Matt Dratva have been in the studio working on an 8 track album that will be released in early 2013. This is a follow up to their 2010 ep '5' and the 6 track offering from 2011 'Painting From The Past'. The upcoming album is much in the vein of their previous releases but wi...th a definite maturing in sound and feel. The skillfulness has progressed as they now have enough studio experience to extend themselves. There is a confidence increase evident, which has resulted in the strongest studio work to date. The Alter's live performances are a must see on the Toronto Indie scene.
