A few weeks again a fellow stylist and dear friend shared a picture from our graduation at Voila. As memories came flooding back I thought I would show you where it all started. The class of September 2003 was filled with some fearless woman. Me the country girl who was very lost, scared, and fragile after just losing my father 2 months before school started found herself again during the next 10 months. The 8 of us became incredibly close and we took care of each other like family. I seriously couldn’t of imagined starting off my career without these ladies. We lifted each other up and cheered everyone on, we listened to each other, we cried and laughed together. Though years and millions of miles now separate us , they ALL hold a very special place in my Happy International Women’s Day!!!

Great news as of Tuesday February 16th Grey Bruce heads back into the yellow zone which means I can open my salon doors again! I’m so looking forward to seeing everyone again I’m rebooking in order that I had to cancel. With today’s announcement I’m still a little unsure of all reopening details and date but believe me I’m ready!! I will be in touch with my clients in order that I had to cancel. Also anyone who had their appointments booked for the year they will stay as is unless you would like to reschedule them. I am truly thankful for the calls, texts, messages, product purchases and waves and smiles from your windows. Well here I am starting off my 17th week of lock down in a year celebrating my 4 year salon anniversary! And truthfully is been a day full of tears. Tears of sadness that I can’t see my beautiful clients and doing what I truly love, tears of frustration that I’m no school teacher, but also tears of happiness that I do have the greatest support team. From family to friends to clients I truly am beyond lucky. These days of isolation have definitely been an emotional roller co...aster but I’m incredibly lucky to have time again with my kids while they still want to hang out with me. This 4 year journey has been a true blessing. Being able to work from home but not in my home has been a dream come true. My family has gotten to know my clients and my clients have gotten to know my family. Having my own business wasn’t always in my vision but I couldn’t be happier with the cards I have been dealt and all the people who made it all come to life. Each day I’m always learning and growing trying to help me grow as a business owner, as a stylist, as a mom and a wife. It’s not always easy but I’m grateful for each step. So from the bottom of my heart thank you ALL for making my small country salon more than I could of ever imagined! Until I see you all again stay safe, stay healthy and keep smiling! Here we are back into the unknown. I truly wished 2021 would of started off on a better note, but here we are trying to navigate through once again. It’s been 3 amazing months since I have been back behind the chair and loving every minute of it!! Now it’s time to start thinking ahead. I’m strongly suggesting booking appointments until Christmas. Here I am just 1 month into being back to work and I am truly thankful for each and everyone of you who has made this journey so much easier. From wearing masks to navigating through my new schedule it’s all been a learning curve. My one on one time with each of you has been the best part of being back to the salon. 3 months missing you all was really hard on me mentally and emotionally. So thanks for all our heart to hearts I’m slowly still getting caught up and hopefully can get back to my regular hours starting in the fall but until then I’m trying super hard to get you all In! A huge thank you to Peyton for concurring my covid hair today! I stuck by my clients and gave my hair an 18 week break. If they couldn’t get their hair done neither was I! This chick has always held a special place in my heart. From cutting her hair as a little girl to her teaching my kiddos to swim and now she is taking on hair school and rocking it!!! This week has been incredibly crazy and full of so many mixed emotions. So with much consideration I have decided to open my doors Tuesday June 16. I will be taking things slow and steady as I ease back into my schedule. I have to be very careful and take care of myself as well as my family. So please if you are feeling unwell, or have a cough, chills, runny nose or fever please stay home. I ask that you please read over the posted guidelines as this will be the new protoco...l. Thank you for your continued support and patience as I make calls to rebook your appointments in the order I had to cancel them back in March. To all new clients who unfortunately had their very first appointment cancelled, I will also be contacting you to rebook your appointment as soon as I can. I can’t thank you all enough for sticking by me through this all. My clients truly mean the world to me and I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful faces

I have spent all day trying to write this post and truly I just need time to process and set up a game plan. With having a young family and an autoimmune disease along with gathering all the PPE that is required for all of us it’s a very stressful situation. I can’t thank each and everyone of you who has reached out with texts, Facebook messages and phone calls I will be replying and booking you all in as soon I have my next step in place. I am truly blessed to have the mo...st amazing clients who respect me as much as I respect them and moving forward I just want what is best for us all.
