We're glad to announce that this Saturday, July 18th @ 8pm, we're presenting our seventh episode of Playlist d'artiste featuring Manon Beaudoin! Director. Playwright. Circus creator. Performer/teacher of physical theatre. Manon Beaudoin has worked throughout Canada and all over the world; from the Caravan Farm Theatre in Armstrong BC, to working on Cirque du Soleil productions in Las Vegas and France, to touring the world with the acclaimed wordless masterpiece The Overcoat! ...Playlist d'artiste gives you an intimate look into the world of an artist: their inspirations, their influences, and the works that have had the most impact on their careers. It's a backstage pass to their artistic lives! They will share with you the inner workings and the impetus behind their creativity. Theatre On-Call is proud to present Tea Time conceived and curated by April Leung Tea Time invites you to listen to stories related to tea, and the journey to discovering one's love/hate/mutual understanding of tea. A message from April:... "We are currently in a time where holding space, learning, and listening are important and key. I recognize I am fortunate and privileged enough to hold this space for artists and anyone to come and share their stories about a common and popular beverage. But there are voices that are underrepresented, including in the current curated artist lineup. While it does not negate this fact, we will be donating 50% of all audience donations from this event to Obsidian Theatre in Toronto. The other 50% will go directly to the curated artists. As an event that aims to empower people to share their stories around a shared beverage, we want to support Obsidian Theatre - a company that champions Black voices in the city.
