The painting I created in now hanging in the room it was requested for! I am finally comfortable saying, my first commission appears to be successful...

After the Storm, my first official comission, oil on canvas palet knife. My goal was to incorporate the elements requested, rendered in a manner that influenced emotions or feelings. If someone likes the image that is a bonus. Painted with no photo references, this image evolved from deep within my heart, soul and subconscious. One of my few paintings that represents me.

Only one quick and simple homemade Christmas card and hand knit gift this year, other than all the home baked goods!
