Is your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner a member of the OAO (Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners). Those who belong to this association have studied Osteopathy at a school that has a lengthy program and is also of the highest quality. Extended health care insurance companies often only cover active members of the OAO because of the quality of education its members are required to have. Those belonging to the OAO have graduated from either a 4 or 5 year program, with additional time or years spent writing a thesis. Always make sure that your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner has the best of education and is an active member of the OAO. Durham Natural Health & Wellness Centre will be located at 1681 Concession 7, Uxbridge. The Whitby location is closing as if October 10th 2018. All clients are welcome to come to the Uxbridge location.
