Researchers from the University of New Brunswick Saint John and the Horizon Health Networkare looking for participants for a study called COGNISANCE that explores the experiences of persons living with dementia and their care partners. TODAY! Toronto Public Library (TPL), in partnership with Canada’s largest literary festivals has launched a virtual literary series called One Page and is inv...iting libraries and book lovers from across Canada to take part. From now until mid-December, authors of international renown will speak directly to Canadians via biweekly virtual events. Each one-hour session is free to attend. For now, events are in English only, but plans are underway to include French content in early 2021. You can learn more by visiting the One Page website (https://onepagelit.ca/). There are also Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube pages that you can follow. The first conversation is today, Thursday, October 8 at 12 PM ET (1 PM Atlantic) and will feature Barbara Kingsolver talking about her collection of poetry How to Fly (In Ten Thousand Easy Lessons). It will be recorded for people who are unable to attend the live event.
