Good Morning Dobros, A long time friend of mine has started a GOFUNDME for us as I have recently been advised to stay off my feet until I get rid of an annoying pressure sore on my foot. I had a pressure sore when I first had my injury and know that if I ignore it, it will just take longer to heal. It came from me layering my socks in order to keep my bad leg warm. Things were to tight and now I have this issue. Another reason why we don't Food Truck in the bitter winter,... and found refuge in our arenas. I am a quick healer (knock on wood) and hope to be back very soon serving fresh food to you hungry folks. Lori and I want to get back to our fans and be done with these issues. We are very close to having our home sweet home at the Middleport Plaza, but that's where we need some help. As COVID hit our busy hockey season was abruptly taken away. All of our events and services in the food truck were halted. We opened up on our property along a busy highway and they shut the road down one month later to repair a bridge. Stranded on a dead end street we looked to the busy Grand River across the road from us and began to serve the hungry boaters. Hockey came back, kind of, and we were allowed to do take out from the Caledonia arena, for a little while until we were again pushed out into the truck. Now in the colder weather and no where to go we are back to the property. Bylaw was notified and again we were shut down. Recently, we have moved our truck to the Middleport Plaza where we have the opportunity to finally have a brick and mortar that would prevent these crazy things from happening in these crazy times. The only issue is that we need to put the equipment in this empty unit. We're almost there and ask our fans to give us a hand to get this project going. We will pay every penny back to all that can help. That guy sitting in that chair wants to get you schnitzelfaced. Cheers and Hvala Lepa Jim See more
