Doctors Eyecare Merritt is currently seeking a full time Optometry Administrator/Patient Care Coordinator Assistant The mission of the Optometry Administrator/P...atient Care Coordinator Assistant is to ensure the patient’s experience is memorable, and to support our staff in all tasks necessary. We are looking for a motivated, outgoing individual who is meticulous in all aspects of the following areas: Providing outstanding patient care Efficiency/time management skills - execute tasks in a timely manner Excellent computer skills - fast learner Excellent verbal and written communication skills - speaking in a manner suitable for a medical office at all times Correctly and accurately booking patients in the VE system, confirming appointments, answering phone calls, booking referrals, checking medical coverage eligibility, communicating with doctor’s offices in a professional manner, updating and ensuring accuracy of appointment scheduler and phone system Team player Receptive to feedback, able to take direction well and respectfully Adaptive to fast-pace and high volume Multitasking and organizing Doctors Eyecare Merritt is a high-paced, leading edge optometry clinic priding itself on superior service and quality products. Our team is committed to upholding these standards while maintaining strong (and fun) staff relationships. Previous office/optical experience is preferred but not necessary - this position will be approximately 30-32 hours/Monday-Friday. Wages to be determined depending on experience, and in house training will be provided. ***Because of COVID-19, precautionary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of our employees and patients. PPE will be provided.***

Eyedrops, eyelid scrubs and vitamins are also still available. Please contact us to arrange pick up or delivery. Frame parts and lens replacements for glasses are available as needed. If you have ordered a pair of glasses, we will be contacting you to arrange delivery or pick up. We want you to know that we are here to help you with any eye related issues and are taking enhanced measure to protect everyone's health. We have implemented heightened sanitization regimens including frequent disinfection of all high touch surfaces. We are also arranging for only one person at a time to be in the office and are asking them to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering.
