At Doctors Eyecare Merritt / Princeton, we are committed to maintaining the health and safety of our staff, families and the communities we serve. To respect social distancing, we will be reducing our operations to essential/urgent services only starting Friday, March 20th until April 1st. - at which time we will reassess the situation. To support our front line workers and to help with the load on our emergency departments and medical offices, we will continue to have ...a doctor and optician on call for emergency ocular and dispensing needs. These will include: Eye infections, allergic reactions and minor trauma Sudden onset vision loss/worrisome vision change Broken glasses To arrange to be seen or to book pick up/delivery of orders that are in progress, please call or text Brian on his cell phone at 250-315-2020. We will continue to closely monitor events and provide any applicable updates. Thank you for your support and patience at this time. Sincerely, Brian & Carrie-Lynn Snee
Dear Patient, We at Doctors Eyecare Merritt/Princeton are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and want to assure you our priority is the health and safety of our patients and staff. We are following advice provided by the Canadian and provincial health officials to ensure our clinic has taken extra precautionary measures to reduce the risk of transmission. Studies of current cases indicate that the severity of the virus is relatively mild for the majority of the populat...ion (similar to symptoms of a cold), however, there is higher risk to the elderly and individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. Your eye health is important to us and we are available to support your vision needs. We are still gladly accepting bookings, but we are not actively recalling patients at this time. For the safety of our community, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or have travelled or been in contact with individuals who have travelled outside of Canada, we encourage you to contact us to reschedule your appointment. Our clinic will remain open to serve you but any changes to our hours will be updated on our Facebook page and answering machine. As the situation continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring and adjusting our procedures to ensure we follow the latest health guidelines. Should you have any questions please email us at [email protected]. Sincerely, Dr. Carrie-Lynn Snee, Dr. Jill Richardson and Dr. Petar Prpic
At Doctors Eyecare Merritt & Princeton, our top priority is the health and safety of our patients, staff and local community. Like you, we are very concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our communities, patients, families and employees safe and healthy during this time. We want to make sure you know what to expect when visiting Doctors Eyecare in the coming weeks and here's what has changed:... 1. We have implemented enhanced cleanliness and sanitation protocols, on top of our standard stringent protocols. This means that all high touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized numerous times per day. 2. You are encouraged and welcomed to use our hand sanitizer stations and/or our facilities to wash your hands when you enter and leave the office. Just ask one of our staff. 3. If you are feeling unwell, we encourage you to reschedule your appointment and postpone office visits until you are feeling better. (Please contact us at 250.378.2020 to arrange for product deliveries as needed). We are actively monitoring what is happening in our community and are ready to implement other changes to ensure a high level of safety. Thank you for being such an important part of our community. Sincerely, Brian and Carrie-Lynn Snee
Thank you to everyone who has sent in/dropped off job applications - we received over forty in total! Application review has begun, and prospective recipients will be contacted for an interview.
Bausch + Lomb is launching the Bausch + Lomb #ONEbyONE recycling program, encouraging consumers to help preserve the environment by taking ONE action at a time, to ONE day achieve a greener future where even your contact lenses can play a role. Patients can now recycle their used Biotrue ONEday contact lenses and other Bausch + Lomb contact lenses and blister packs through a free program developed by Bausch + Lomb, in partnership with TerraCycle, a company that collects and re-purposes hard-to-recycle post-consumer waste. Bring in your used contacts and packaging to either of our offices to be recycled.
Our office is closed over the Christmas holidays. If you have an eyeglass emergency please contact Dawne at 250-293-1011.
