We tried a new receptionist but because he didn’t have thumbs it didn’t work out. He’s now our cookie tester here at Dodge City Grooming Salon. . . . We recommend to all of our loyal, lovely clients to book their fur babies in ahead of time. Depending on what your groomer recommends, we strongly suggest to book at least 1 appointment ahead of time to avoid disappointment and eliminate as many squeeze in appointments. Currently our groomer’s schedules are booking up anywh...ere from 3-8 weeks in advance. We’ve opened up our schedules until September so please book away (via online booking) if you’re having troubles booking in 2 pups at the same time please email [email protected] to let us know you have two or more, so we can make sure that appointment has enough time with you’re groomer. Our online system sometimes doesn’t always allow more than one booking with one groomer, it’s a way from preventing us from being double booked/overwhelmed. . . Thank you everyone for being so patient with the phone lines, emails, Facebook messages etc during this very busy time. Did you know we groom pets under veterinarian prescribed/guided sedation? Some pets either do not tolerate grooming very well, whether it be lack of exposure, behaviour or age. With the help and support of your veterinarian, our groomer Leanne feels very comfortable in this area of grooming as she still works for one of our local vet hospitals for continued education/support. . .
