For our valued clients, please, read the response of MPP Jane McKenna: "I want to provide additional clarity relating to the Mayor's post. To date the provincial government has indicated that under Schedule 2 of Ontario Regulation 82/20 that pet groomers are not permitted to open at this time. At the request of various local pet groomers, my office has confirmed this regulation several times, including again today. Several municipalities, including Burlington, have chosen to ...interpret provincial regulations differently. To ensure our local pet groomers are protected from potential liability, we strongly recommend pet groomers contact their insurance provider to confirm (in writing), that their liability insurance policy will remain in force if they choose to reopen despite provincial regulations. I will continue to work with local pet groomers to share their concerns with the provincial government. See more
