Thank you for supporting the 32nd Annual Rugby Auction! While this year’s online event is very different from our previous auctions, your continued support is v...ital to the rugby and sports community and is appreciated beyond measure during this unusual time. Our online Fine Art and Wine Auction 2021 features Newfoundland and Labrador's finest artists including Mary Pratt, David Blackwood, Grant Boland, JC Roy, James Miller, Janice Udell, Cliff George, Jonathan O'Dea, Scott Goudie, Gerald Squires, Anne Meredith Barry, Nathaniel Noel, and others. It also includes Canadian artists who have painted scenes of NL such as David Wilson, Alex Cameron, Greg Hardy, and Sarah Peterson. This auction financially supports the development of sports facilities in the region, particularly the NL Sports Centre and the Swilers Rugby Complex. These facilities continue to promote healthy living and sport development among all age groups of our province and all sports. Auction items will be available for viewing at the Delta Hotel on Friday, January 29th from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday, January, 30th from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The online auction will close at 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 30th. Payment and collection of the art will be at the Delta Hotel on Sunday, January 31st between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. If required, shipping can be arranged and must be covered by the bidder. Once again, we thank you for your ongoing support!

Just over 8 hours to go until the end of the auction at 10pm tonight. A couple of pointers to avoid any potential disappointment: 1. Make sure you bid in the comments section of the photo of the item you are interested in. 2. Facebook defaults to 'Most Relevant' in displaying comments. The most effective way to find the highest bid is to switch from 'Most Relevant' to 'Newest'. Apparently, some older phones do not allow for this option, so just be aware.... 3. There is a time stamp on every bid. The club shall be using the time stamp to identify the winners. Any bids that come in after 10pm will not be counted. 4. We have been paying attention to the bids so any time a bid may be doubled up or repeated for whatever reason, we shall endeavour to contact the person, with said same bid, so they can increase it if they choose. 5. Once the winners have been identified, they can pay either by etransfer to [email protected] or by credit card over the phone.
