What a incredible winter! I’ve been able to create these fire pits, not only do they cut down on the smoke that always seem to follow a person no matter where y...ou sit, there’s some safety benefits and when not in use they’re visually appealing. The eagle, fairies etc are balanced to freely move in the wind. All though I haven’t come up with pricing, inquiries are welcome. See more
The Blessings of Peace. The Beauty of Hope. The Spirit of Love. The Comfort of Faith. May these be your gifts, the Christmas Season. From my home to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New year! For anyone suffering, please reach out. Am just a phone call, text away
I was so looking forward to hosting a few small classes before Xmas..... but everything has changed. If your looking for a unique one of a kind gift, or if you like a custom piece made there’s still a bit of time! Social distancing, no problem! I can leave it out behind the barn or place it in the ditch for ya! Please private message or phone 362-2212 here’s a very small sample of a few of the items that are available. Stay well! And am truly hoping everyone is enjoying this incredible weather
A question that is often asked how did DogTown start? To be brutally honest, it comes from struggles, and a lot of heartaches. There’s this very large rock at the very tip of my property, tucked away, out of sight that I use to find myself hiding out on, and trying to make sense of things that just didn’t make sense. Believe it was 1998 when my father and myself built the original lookout tower, and all though it’s been redone for a second time, it’s was passed due for another rebuilt. With generous help from Abe Thiessen it’s now completed for a third time. Am so looking forward to sharing it with you all! Stay safe! Hope to see you soon XOX Thanks fb for cropping the pics I added the full pic in the comments
Happy Thanksgiving! Let me take this opportunity to share how great full I am to been able to share DogTown this year. I wasn’t sure I was going to continue this year....... and then the pandemic hit and gave me the opportunity to continue more on my terms. Instead of aiming for 1 big day a week, I was open by appointment. Allowing for social distancing and me to schedule around my health. A much more relaxed atmosphere for both my customers and myself. I had the privilege of... meeting so many special people of all ages, some were familiar faces and many others, visiting for the first time. A quick mention of the generosity of a customer that came earlier 1 morning with camera in hand and then gifting the pics she had taken, Valerie Lynne. Thank You you all brought meaningful connections and purpose to my life. I would also like to thank Dave and Nancy Fehr with Fehrway Feeds, Ken Hildebrand, Ernie Wiebe with Sunvalley Tire, Ralph Fehr with Elias Woodwork’s, Frank Hildebrand with Hildebrand Finishing Inc, Dale Klassen with Prairie Gold Transport. Your support tells me you see the value that DogTown brings to the community and with your support WE can continue, and grow. Lucy, Brent and Mark Kroeker, for being the best neighbors I could ask for. Zofia Dove, for given from her heart, your time and expecting nothing in return. For the friends in the back ground that check on me. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart! You all inspire me to continue, that am not alone on this journey I’ve often mentioned that I believe the most important sign on the yard is Perspective and it was placed on purpose to be on the fence ;) and just a bit hidden. My wish for all is to keep a positive perspective and have empathy for others perspective. Love and best wishes! Ps. am also very greatful that there’s no s n o w this weekend :)

It was the year 2000, and a fair bit of hype over millennial projects when this little old grainy was transformed into a church. This was the first building that started the village. Over winter the shingles and siding was replaced, and this pass week the entrance received paint.
Anyone that has visited DogTown has a difficult time explaining what DogTown is. Ive created this, and I cant even explain it with words. Is it a museum, with a different twist? Is it flower gardens, water features, art in a park? Is it repurposing, recycling? Please help in describing DogTown.
Sending out gentle hugs More so than ever we need a time out. A place to forget about lifes troubles. Pack a picnic and enjoy all the mysteries of DogTown!
Last Thanksgiving brutal early winter storm transform this beautiful pine tree into a pole. My favourite view from the dining room table. Over winter I created this 4 Dream Catcher with 18 hand crafted roses to sit on 1 of the branches that were left. Once again am enjoying my view
