Summer 2021 goal, hike here! There is some seriously epic backcountry between the Sunshine Coast and Squamish. Views courtesy of an incredible scenic flight with Fly Coastal
What a pleasure to work with such inspiring people, powerful work being done by Ben and Charlene!
Having a great time working with the talented individuals over at Coastal Craft to share a behind the scenes look at what goes into the production of their world class boats. Check it out!
Special delivery! Seeing the logistical side of a remote operation such as @seaforthexpeditions is mind-bending. Here a classic @dehavillandbeaver comes in to deliver some fresh goodies and restock our coolers!

An incredible experience with an equally amazing group of people, so thankful for these memories!
Yesterday evening's sunset/moonrise combination was incredible and tonight should be no different! The moon will be a little closer to full and will rise 20 minutes later, right as the sun is setting... find yourself a nice vantage point and enjoy! #SunshineCoastBC (Feel free to share with your friends that would be interested!)
A quick and great read!
Super stoked to be featured by Destination British Columbia this week for their Explore with Locals series. Check out their most recent post for some images and tips on getting the most out your time on the Sunshine Coast during the fall season. #SunshineCoastBC #ExploreBC
I've had the pleasure of doing a lot of work with Coastal Craft these past few weeks and this shot has got to be one of my favourites! A picture perfect sunset off the shores of Roberts Creek.
So stoked on this shot I captured for Coastal Craft! To help make this image special I utilized a slow shutter speed which means that anything moving in relation to my camera will blur out. This not only communicates motion and speed to the viewer but it also helps the boat pop off the page. It isn't an easy task when shooting a fast boat from a helicopter... There are many moving axis and if they're not all in line the boat itself will start to blur as well. Thanks to a damn steady pilot and many attempts (I'm talking hundreds) the results are everything I'd hoped for.
33’ ExpressFish Happy Friday! @dolfvermeulen

Some pinch me moments this week as my office consisted of a helicopter, a paddleboard, and this damn beautiful boat. Lots of exciting things in the works with Coastal Craft! Check out their page and follow along as we roll out some fresh content in the coming months.
Lightning strikes hammer down over the Strait of Georgia! I woke up to take a piss and stumbled upon one hell of a lightning storm early this morning! Pretty rare to get such frequent strikes on the west coast, especially without rain overhead. I’ve wanted to capture this scene for years but the conditions here rarely allow for it. I ran down to the beach and spent a few hours shooting away... I’ll definitely need a nap today! #SunshineCoastBC

Junuary has been in full effect lately! I’ve got to say I’m excited to finally see some consistent sunshine in the forecast but all this rain sure makes our forests come alive. #SunshineCoastBC
Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day! Today we honour and recognize the Squamish (skwxwú7mesh), Shíshálh, Tla'amin, and Klahoose First Nations who have been on... this land since time immemorial, and on whose land we stand. Today we're sharing this image and caption captured last year by #sunshinecoastbc photographer Dolf Vermeulen Creative: "It was a privilege to spend some time watching master carver ?antuni Tony Paul work. I came feeling honoured by the opportunity and left feeling inspired by his presence. As a 10 year residential school survivor himself he now carves this 34ft red cedar into a symbol of reconciliation on the Sunshine Coast. A wonderful story teller through both his words and his art! #síshálhNation" See more
