Dollard Baseball was beyond heartbroken to hear of the passing of Joni Ahad, mother of long time Dollard Baseball player Erica Ahad. Joni could always be found at the baseball field watching and cheering on her daughter and her teammates. Joni always greeted you with a smile and was always positive and encouraging. On behalf of Dollard Baseball we want to wish our sincere condolences to Ed, Erica and their family at this time.

Hello DABA members, Today we open registration for the 2021 baseball season. Last season, in a year marked by COVID, we hope that the baseball season provided an element of normalcy in everyone’s lives. We all got to go to the park and watch our children safely play the sport they love. Today we begin the countdown to doing it all again in 2021. Happy Holidays and 2021 Update Season’s Greetings to our Dollard Baseball members, We would like to take this opportunity during the holiday season to provide you with an update on Dollard Baseball programs for the year to come. ... Firstly, we unfortunately must cancel our Winter Clinic program for 2021. We know there is a dedicated group of players who love this program and the opportunity to play baseball year round every year. We did not make this decision without first investigating all possible options to provide it once again in some form. Given the current vaccination progress, we fully expect to have this program available to all who are interested again starting in January 2022. On a brighter note, with some extra sanitization and a few minor rule changes, Dollard Baseball was able to run a successful summer baseball season in 2020. Presently, all associations and leagues are proceeding with the expectation that this will once again be the case in 2021. Therefore we will be starting registration for our Spring/Inter-Community and Summer teams right on schedule on January 15th, 2021. We will also be happy to begin accepting coaching applications on January 15th as well. Further information regarding registration and these programs will be sent out early in the new year. Lastly, we wish you all a Happy Holiday season and a Happy New Year. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
