RAW FOOD : MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY PART 1 Hey it’s me! Megs! I wanted to share my personal story about how a raw diet has changed my life and the life of my dog. Before we opened Doodle Dogs, Wala Bing Bang number 1 baby chicken was kibble fed of course. She loved her food, and she did fine on it. The problem with Weechee is she was born into genetic betrayal. Puppy mill puppy which resulted in one court lawsuit, charges, and my dog requiring 5 surgeries and 3 specia...list. She had 3 surgeries before she was even spayed. Side note: please do more research into buying puppies than I did in 2014. The same breeder I got Weechee from was CKC registered for 9 years and we figured out later also sold to pet stores in Calgary. Surprise! Anywho, long story short because I could talk the legs off a table, after opening Doodle Dogs and learning more and more about what we wanted to carry, we saw what raw diets were doing to help dogs with allergies, skin conditions, weight management and so much more. My poor dog was a but there was nothing I could do about that but what I could do was give her the life she deserved. Her meals, while not as complicated as some, are crafted with supplements to help aid her poor little broken ass bawdie. Her weight is perfect, her teeth are amazing, her poops are small, her energy is honestly too much sometimes but here we are. I’m not the parent who chops up veg into her meals but I’m legit the one who puts treats in it. Why? Because she is awesome and I love her. If I’m being honest, I could never ever look at kibble the same again. After wrapping my brain around geckos and being fed mice and salads because there’s no chow why do we give our fur animals processed kibble? Once you see it you can’t unsee it. My brother gives his fish blood works and zucchini for god sakes. A lot of folks say they are afraid of raw because of cost and convenience. You can see in this pic I don’t do much at all, and for a 12.5 lb shih tzu I can pretty much feed caviar. The amount of money I have saved over the years on vet visits honestly has been worth it.
