NOV 2 2020 UPDATE NOTHING HAS CHANGED FOR THE PROVISION OF PHYSIOTHERAPY AT DOUG CHRISTIE PHYSIOTHERAPY DURING THE NEW CODE RED RESTRICTIONS The restrictions that are currently in place at Doug Christie Physiotherapy meet all the guidelines for the code red restrictions outlined starting Nov 2 2020. We continue to screen clients, require hand sanitizing and masking before entering the clinic, all contact surfaces are sanitized after touching, clients are distanced and sepa...rated from others and staff are masked and wash hands constantly. We have been operating in this manner since opening in April 2020 in order that we can provide safe care to those who would benefit from our services. We are committed to being part of the solution while we help others achieve a healthy functioning body through these difficult times. At least then you will be ready to get up and go when we are given the green light! Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate through these unusual times. THE CURRENT NORMAL AT DOUG CHRISTIE PHYSIOTHERAPY UPDATE AUG 5, 2020 We have now been open for 3 months and things are, well different, but going well. Stage one of the re entry plan excelled in its restriction of new covid -19 cases.... We are now open from 7 am to 6 pm Monday and Wednesday, from 7 am to 7 pm Tuesday and Friday and from 7 am to 3 pm on Thursday. Before attending the clinic, clients are required to screen themselves using the Shared Health covid-19 questionnaire. When attending the clinic you will be required to sign confirmation that you currently do not have any reason to believe you are at risk of having covid-19 and have not travelled to any area that requires you self-isolate. There is hand sanitizer at the reception desk to be used before you enter the clinic. The reception area and the clinic are practicing physical distancing. Masks are worn by staff and clients. All surfaces and equipment are sanitized after each use. We are restricting the number of clients in the clinic at one time so we can meet these guidelines. Thanks to all of you for understanding and complying with the limitations and guidelines that we are enforcing presently. Hopefully the policies help you to feel comfortable attending physiotherapy should the need arise and also allow us to remain open throughout the rest of this pandemic period.
