Sundog In St James today.
The Government of Manitoba is asking for public input on loosening pandemic restrictions. Here is my input: Follow the recommendations of public health experts
Still not feeling confident about Manitoba’s loosening of restrictions, so for the first time I cut my own hair.
This is the threshold for expelling someone from the CPC. A day late and a dollar short, Mr. O’Toole.
Enough! People are dying because of the actions of individuals who do this. Warnings and tickets are not enough. Their actions are criminal, and they need to be charged as criminals.
Beautiful day for an 8K run
I got some good news yesterday. The College has approved my return to practice. I can officially practice medicine without a net (and with a pay check)! Looking forward to the next phase of my adventure. It’s been a long journey, and despite the challenges, I have no regrets about my decision to seek public office. (And I plan to do it all again!)
The end of 2020 brings another chapter to a close for me. I have finished my 6 month assessment period and exams as part of my return to practice. The process has been significantly delayed by COVID-related administrative disruptions, but it is finally done. Now it is down to collating paperwork. Although I enjoyed being back in the emergency department, it has been challenging working without any income. (As I am not part of an academic program, there is no provision for payment during the assessment period.) Looking forward to being employed again.
The length of my hair has been driving me crazy. I asked my wife to help me with a home COVID cut. She said no. Because she loves me.
