On International Women's Day the team at Douglas are celebrating our fearless leaders Lise Gyorkos and Georgina Camilleri, who built Page One Publishing (Douglas, YAM and SPRUCE magazines) from the ground up and who use those platforms to celebrate the people who make our community special. It's no mean feat creating an independent media company, nor is maintaining its growth through thick and thin. Lise and Georgina know it is important to recognize women and the roles they represent globally, and believe the theme of International Women’s Day, #ChooseToChallenge particularly resonates for 2021 with the impact COVID-19 has had on women in the workforce.
