? Here's a bit of a different look at the #bc #realestate market. Usually I'm posting Lower Mainland stats, however, something new has been happening during the pandemic. What we can see happening is huge increases, (as high as 140% in Cloverdale, also Bowen Island at 133%), in the number of sales in some markets. Something I predicted early on, when the first lockdown came into effect and people started working a lot from home. Many have found the...y can live anywhere now, and work remotely, so we are seeing many move away from the city centre and buy a detached home where they can create dedicated work space. A commute that many wanted to avoid, with the shift in business activities, that has passed.
