Ways to reduce the risk of SUIDS.. a little graphic I made for teaching . The sudden unexpected infant death syndrome which used to be called SIDS - sudden infant death syndrome. We don’t know why some babies die in their sleep but we do know ways of reducing this risk. Adopt this advice to reduce the risk of SUIDS - put your baby on their backs to sleep, breastfeed if you can, do not smoke or expose your baby to cigarette smoke, room share for at least 6 months, do not expose your baby to anyone who is sick, avoid overdressing and overheating your baby, no blankets or loose items in baby’s crib, no vit bumpers either! #SUIDS #reducerisk #babycare #parentingtips #ppdoulatraini g #newpatenteducation
