Down North Farms

These two look pretty happy with the new set up for winter. Now just waiting for the heated water bucket to arrive so that we don’t have to water daily. Also have to re-jig the shelter for colder weather. We had a larger water bucket in there but with Cowboy’s bossy attitude they need a little more space inside the shelter if the are going to get along peacefully for the winter.

The freezer is organized and full of beef from our farm! Looking forward to making some amazing meals from this grass fed beef. Yes there is one package of lamb sausage in the freezer but the rest is highland beef raised in Upper Liard by Down North Farms!

Here is a picture that Dan sent to me this evening. He cut our beef burger packs into 4 equal squares and was able to make 4 quarter pound burgers that look amazing. We will have more burger for sale. Keep an eye on our page or pm Jean MacLean if you are interested.

These Tonka trucks were given to us by a friend probably 6 years ago. They have been used well for a long time. Our boys love them and have been pushing them around like this for years. They have discovered that the drills in the field make an excellent racing track for their Tonka dump trucks.
