Here is some information for all you gardeners out there in the Coaldale area. Sounds like a great event! Come out and trade your surplus plants at Coaldales annual Spring Plant Swap May 3rd, 10:00 am 2:00 pm... 2210 19 Street, Coaldale, AB This is a great place to get plants for a new garden, and probably for new gardeners to get some advice, as well. With Spring Sampling the question is always, what are the fields like right now? We've decided that as a service to our clients, we will be posting field conditions as we hear from different customers and how their sampling is going. Monday April 7th-Fields south of Fort MacLeod are very wet with frost at about 8 inches. Difficulty getting on them with a quad.

Even though it doesn't feel like it, spring really is just around the corner! If you would like us to do your spring soil sampling, be sure to call the lab and get your name on the list.
