DO YOU HAVE TALENT? Hello All: It's been a long, dry spell with no music or entertainment and another St. Patrick's Day when we can't get together for our annua...l Irish Concert. Some folks have come up with an idea. We are hoping to put together a virtual St. Patrick's Concert this year. Everyone interested in performing a song, skit, dance or whatever could video their act on their phones and send it to Grant Dafoe. He is going to put it all together into a program for everyone to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes at their leisure. If you are interested in putting together an act for this virtual event, please send an email to Grant Dafoe ([email protected]) ASAP with contact information and a quick idea of what type of act you are thinking of submitting. He would like to get your videos my March 18th so he can have the show ready to view on the evening of Saturday, March 20th. It's certainly not like getting together but it's the next best thing given the current pandemic restrictions. Your contributions to this event will certainly be appreciated. Hugs, Helen Carroll

The Downeyville Hall Renovation Committee would like to thank all those who have dropped their empties off at the storage garage in the church parking lot. So far this year your donations have raised $1671!! A special thank you goes to Simon Connell who collects and returns the empties each week on behalf of the committee. Simon would like everyone to know that the new location to return empties is a lidded box now located in front of the Hall. We hope you will continue to support this ongoing fundraiser by using this new location. Please share.

Get ready for The Downeyville Hall’s first Scavenger hunt! On Saturday October 17th from 1-4 we will be having a scavenger hunt around Downeyville and Lindsay. Teams will have maximum 5 people and must have a driver, vehicle and something to take photos with. Teams will be given a list of items and places to find and a list of tasks to complete.
