What does your Sunday look like? For me (Olivia), Sunday is a day of rest. A day where I can stay in my sweat pants, watch church online, connect with some friends over the phone and slow things down! Sunday is a day where I get to reset after a full week and rest in the presence of God with nothing else going on. ... Sunday is a day where I get to make iced coffee (yes, I do this every day) and jump in the car, turn my music up way too loud and cruise. I love driving. I love the open road. I love seeing people. I love singing and trying to be louder than my music. I love people laughing at me at stoplights because I’m smiling and singing. I love that my iced coffee tastes just a little different when I’m driving. Sunday is a day where I get to rest and do something that makes my heart happy. What do you do on Sundays? A small snapshot of 2020!! I watched my year in review this morning and it truly made me smile! This has been a wild year, but every wild year has some fantastic memories!! 2020 was not short of those beautiful memories! ... To list a few: - A beautiful couple got engaged at Down to the Bean - Josh Dale brought his personality to work every day! - Salsa Saturdays with Steve - Holly did a live concert at Down to the Bean - Our youngest barista was sleeping during her training... - Our customers participated in our Whipped Coffee challenge!! - After being closed for 2 months, we were able to re-open with new and exciting ideas! - We launched Ice Cream - We got Sweaters and Merchandise!! - We partnered with the community to create Down to the Bean’s first art gallery - Morgan is still our rockstar employee!! - We partnered with GroupHug Apparel and collected so many toys for the Children’s Hospital!! We are so beyond thankful for all the support and love we have received during this wild year!! We are so excited for what 2021 will bring!
