I have to give a big shout-out to Larry Villella and ADK Microphones! We've got a bunch, from the 3-Zigma CHI system to the Z-Mod Custom Shop. Quiet, accurate robust, with a palette for any instrument or vocal. And the company's great to deal with. Anybody else use these?

Saddened to hear about the passing of Michael Fonfara. I had the pleasure to work with him on some Chris Houston recordings. A tremendous talent, amazing career, and the sweetest guy, making my humble studio sound like Lou Reed's backing band.
