Coco and I dropped dad off to open the store this morning and then took the morning to enjoy our own backyard! So lucky to have @sugar_moon_farm as neighbours up here in Earltown! We went for a quick hike in the woods followed by some great take out! It’s a great time of year to explore Earltown’s many trails, and to grab a bite to eat! #earltown

I really enjoy adding vanilla bean to our small batch jams here at the store! Tonight as I continue on pitting peaches and cooking up plums, I am tucking our scraped out vanilla bean pods into bottles of Blue Lobster Vodka from @nsspiritco to make the most out of these coveted beans! We will have our own extract in a few months to use in things like the sugar soaks on our cakes! Give it a try!

We’re in the middle of preserving season over here at the store! Pitting plums today from @malagashcidery for Golden Plum Jam! Brenda has been busy in our pickling kitchen, preserving the harvest from Bill’s garden into 1000+ bottles of Bread and Butters, Mustard Pickle and Million Dollar Relish. A great time of year but a hell of a time of year! Thanks Brenna from @malagashcidery for the beautiful fruit that we turn into our jams! Thank you Bill for the highest quality cukes!
