Downtown St. John's is pleased to announce that there will be a SENSORY FRIENDLY HOUR daily at the Santa and Friends Mile One event on November 28 and 29 between 10 am and 11 am. Individuals with sensory concerns are invited to attend at any point during the event of course but are encouraged to bring noise reducing headphones or any other tool to increase their comfort level. #lovedowntown

Downtown St. John’s presents Santa & Friends at Mile One Centre November 28 & 29, 2020 *NOTE: In conjunction with Public Health ,we are monitoring the COVID-19 cases within our community. As a result, this event is subject to change and/or cancellation should the need arise.* Santa Claus has been given special clearance to visit Downtown St. John’s! ... Join Santa and some of his special friends at Mile One Centre on Saturday & Sunday November 28 & 29 from 10 am to 6 pm daily. Take a one-way stroll through Mile One and say Merry Christmas to Santa and his friends from a safe social distance. Bring your letters to the Jolly Old Elf and drop them in the mailbox for Santa. Don’t forget to bring along a non-perishable food item or a donation for the Community Food Sharing Association. Great care has been given to ensure everyone’s safety at this event. Our event plan, as well as Mile One’s safe opening plan, has been given the green light by Service NL/Public Health. Due to Covid-19 everyone attending the event must wear a mask when on the property of Mile One Centre. Attendees are asked to remain within their bubbles at all times and practice proper social distancing. Please follow the Mile One Centre Covid-19 Safety Protocols and respect the directions of the Mile One Centre staff at all times. This is a FREE community event, but you will need to call the Mile One Centre Box Office at 576 7657 beginning NOON on Friday, November 20 to book a time to visit Santa & Friends at Mile One Centre. Utilizing the Box Office will allow for crowd control measures and contact tracing to occur. Space is limited!! We kindly ask that attendees continue to move through Mile One Centre at all times to ensure everyone gets a chance to say hi to Santa within their assigned time slot.
