The Podiatry Associates Update We are still operating our business with many restrictions due to this pandemic. Our reception staff have been doing their absolute hardest to accommodate our patients the best that we can with appointment times. Thank you to our patients for their constant understanding as we all had to enter a new "normal." At this time id like to thank our wonderful admin staff for keeping their heads held high and working as hard as they have been! You guys ROCK!

Orthopedic Solutions is currently the only orthopedic footwear store offering walk in service. Due to covid restrictions we can only have a maximum of 3 customers at a time in our store. We do not take appointments and it is first come first serve. We are very busy and wait times can vary so please give yourself plenty of time when you plan to visit. We do not like to rush our customers and it can take 30-45 minutes to try and get you the best fit possible. During this difficult time our staff are trying to do their best with limited selection, product delays,and extremely busy days. Please call ahead if you are from out of town so we can give you an estimate regarding wait times. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we will all get through this together!

The Podiatry Associates Update As of June 8th, 2020 Physical distancing : Our front desk staff will be safety distanced by a barrier. We are asking for our patients to stay in your car until you appointment time to avoid anyone in the waiting area. If you are late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Contactless payment options will be preferred and cash will not be accepted until further notice.... Masks are MANDATORY! If you are without a mask, you may purchase one in our clinic while supplies last. We ask you attend your appointment alone unless the patient requires a caregiver or is a minor. Prior to your appointment, all patients will be pre-screened on both your health status & recent travel activities. We will be sanitizing all tables, chairs, counter tops and all communal patient areas after use. Hand hygiene will be performed consistently throughout the day before and after each patient encounter. Hand sanitizer will be available to all patients. We are currently in the middle of contacting any patients whom were booked in March, April or May. We will contact you to rebook. Orthopedic Solutions Update As of June 8th, 2020 Orthopedic Solutions will continue operate on a walk-in basis. However, due to COVID-19 regulations the following measures will be put in place:... Only Three(3) people will be allowed to be in the store at a time. If you show up and the store is full we will ask you to leave your name, number and get you to wait in your car. We will call you as soon as we are ready to serve you. All customers are asked not to touch any of the items on display. Our staff will be happy to assist you with anything you need. All customers we have to follow the directional arrows on the floor. For the safety of all staff and customers we ask that you bring and wear a face mask while in the store. All customers who have ordered shoes before our closure will be contacted in the next week and a pick-up time determined. Thank you for your patience during this time. Urgent Clinic Update The health and safety of our valued patients and staff is of the utmost importance to us at The Podiatry Associates. As such we have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and following all recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Canada. Beginning on March 30th until further notice, 1 Anderson Avenue Clinic will be providing emergency , post-operative care and treatment requiring attention so as to prevent complication...s. If you have an appointment booked in the near future, or missed one this past week due to our closure, please expect a call for medical history screening. Please refer to the below in-office protocols put in place to protect our patients, staff and their families. If you do not feel your appointment is emergent, please call and leave a message to cancel. We will return your call for rebooking. The Podiatry Associates Social Distancing Protocols Only patients & required support staff/parent shall enter the clinics, others may not enter. We will be limiting one patient in the clinic at a time and kindly ask that you wait outside until your appointment time, at which point our staff will greet you at the main entrance to let you in the clinic. Please arrive at your designated appointment time and not any earlier. No food or drinks will be allowed in the office. We will only be accepting debit and credit for services rendered To prevent the spread of COVID-19 we will not be treating patients with the following history: 1. Fever and/or onset of cough or flu-like (sore throat, congestion, malaise) symptoms. 2. Traveled outside of Canada within the last 14 days. 3. Come in close contact with a person who has a confirmed or potential case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days. 4. Come in contact with a person with an acute respiratory illness, who has travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days. 5. Tested Positive for the COVID-19 infection. If you have an appointment scheduled with us and fit any of the above criteria please call us in advance of your appointment to reschedule.
