To our valued Patients. We’re happy to announce that Malmberg Family Dental is officially OPEN for business. Our health care team has been avidly working to comply with all Phase 1 Re-opening standards set forth by the Alberta Dental Association and the Provincial Government. We’re pleased to say we’re prepared to care for all of your dental needs with our newly acquired PPE (personal protection equipment) and safety precautions. Please feel free to call and book an appointme...nt as we’re now permitted to accommodate ALL aspects of dental care. COVID Phase 1 Reopening Changes As we ease back into our regular services, daily screenings of staff and patients are of utmost importance. Screening will include asking about symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or headache. As a staff, we will also be wearing additional PPE equipment depending on the procedures performed. During this time, we ask that patients please come to appointments alone or accompanied only with a necessary caregiver. You will also be asked to sanitize your hands upon entry and maintain safe distancing practices. Appointments will also be staggered to minimize interaction with others in the office. Although we're currently unable to provide routine dental care, you do not need to suffer if you’re experiencing dental pain or prolonged discomfort. Please do not hesitate to call our office or emergency number to be assessed and get dental advice and care. If you’re determined to fit ADA emergency qualifications, an appointment will be set up and treatment will be provided. A...ccording to the Alberta Dental Association guidelines, Dentists are able to treat emergency patients with significant infection, prolonged bleeding, oral-facial trauma, pain which cannot be managed by over the counter medications, or known/high-risk malignancy.
