BPA in Plastic: If your plastic containers are marked with a 3 or a 7, they likely contain BPA (whether or not your plastic has BPA, all plastic has other questionable chemicals in them). We bought Ella some of these for her snacks, they are made from 100% organic cotton.

Going Green: My wife just took threw out all our plastic food storage containers (i'm still unsure she's not just doing this so she can shop for new ones), but heh great! Canadian Tire has these on sale all the time and Anchor Hocking claims no BPA in lids.
