Hi All, Amid all the chaos known as Covid 19, there is an annual garden show that occurs every Spring, in Toronto. IF you are not familiar with Canada Blooms, it is a great show that is put on in conjunction with the Home Show and a collaboration through Landscape Ontario and its members. The are many gardens that are built by a group of members and companies, big and small, who put in countless hours of unpaid work to make it happen. As a member of Landscape ...Ontario and also a past builder of many gardens, I can tell you whole heartedly, that I would be heart broken and extremely disappointed to have endure the time and effort to build a garden, to have the show cancelled, with no one to see our efforts. I don't know what is being done at this time to allow the public to see the gardens, but I can imagine that due to the nature of the show, and the duration of the shut downs, it will be hard for any one to preserve the gardens for anyone to see them. With this, as a gesture of good will and support to the garden builders, staff and volunteers, I would like to express my thanks to you all for your efforts and I would like to ask any one and everyone to pass along their positive comments and thoughts, to support these hardworking folks. I don't know if there are any plans to do any sort of online virtual tour of the gardens, or even if there was an opportunity to complete the gardens, but knowing what goes in to this show, I would think that the great people that put this show on, would appreciate some kind words of support. From all of us at Dr. Landscape Inc., thank you for your efforts. Keep your head up. You have lots of good company in your trials at this time.
