Dr. Warren will be retiring from his downtown dental practice as of February 28th, 2020. We have enjoyed serving you over the last 24 years and feel grateful to have had such wonderful patients as part of our dental family. We also appreciate the support and friendship of our dental team, Tamara, Sharon and Tammy. This has been a difficult decision but I'm confident that I have found a great downtown practice to take care of your dental needs. Dr. Sam Withanachchi and Dr.... Paman Chahal at Tooth Works Dentistry will take over the patient care and dental records as of March 2nd. Both dentists are born and raised in Edmonton and bring a lot of experience and expertise and strive to provide the best that dentistry offers. Their downtown office is situated at 9915-108 Street and their phone number is 780-428-7830. Patients will receive a letter from me with the details of the transition as well as a invitation from Dr. Withanachchi regarding a retirement/meet and greet Open House. We enjoyed a fun night out with our dental team at the Harvest room at hotel MacDonald to celebrate the holiday season. There was great company, lots of laughter, a delicious meal and great service. The gingerbread castle is worth checking out and took 600 hours to make. Cheers to a wonderful staff and the holiday season!

March 3rd to 9th is Dental Assistants Recognition Week. A certified dental assistant is educated in infection control protocols, providing patients education, assisting the dentist during procedures, providing some intra oral care, administrative jobs and much more. As part of the dental health team they are essential to the oral care of Canadians. We appreciate and thank our two awesome dental assistants, Tamara and Sharon for taking such great care of our patients. Tamara, RDA, our Business Assistant, schedules your appointments and processes your insurance claims. Sharon, RDA, takes pride in helping to make patients comfortable during their treatment, explains procedures, takes x-rays, assists Dr. Warren and provides other intra-oral procedures. Dental staff attended the Edmonton Dental Assistants Conference on February 2nd at the Fantasyland hotel. We enjoyed a variety of topics and speakers and great lunch and company.
