Finally had a chance to read(skim) the new book from David Katz MD. If you've spent any time around health and nutrition you know how muddy the waters can be due to biased scientists, corporations, lobby groups, government, media, and "experts" all trying to spin things in favour of their own interests. Katz is none of that, and this book of rational, common sense perspectives on the current state of nutrition science is like a breath of fresh air. Im not crazy about the title, but for my money this is hands down the best book on human nutrition that i have read(skimmed) in my 15 plus years of health education and research. If you have a human body and ten bucks (kindle), do yourself a favour and read(or skim) it.
