Just delivered birthday present number 3, 2 weeks to spare! Fynn got to do some quality control testing lol. This is a pykler triangle, with a climbing ramp that can be flipped over to become a slide. It was made with birch, poplar, white oak and plywood. All recycled materials except the dowels and finished with beeswax, carnauba wax and mineral oil.

Finished up these two learning tower/ladders just in time for a couple of first birthdays! Feeling very proud to get to make presents for such a big occasion. One of them is stained and finished with polyurethane, while the other has been kept natural with a wax finish. Both are made with combinations of plywood and hardwood. Each of them are adjustable to be used as the child grows. As you can see there’s one happy birthday boy!

Got this beast delivered yesterday. It’s a 4 inch thick piece of white pine that was done as a commission. It’s been filled with epoxy and finished with oil modified polyurethane. Glad this one is done lol it was a lot of sanding! If you have something in mind that you’d like to have built, feel free to contact me.

I’m very happy to share this latest project with everyone. Marjane, the owner/operator of Fynn’s daycare was looking for a way to block off the kitchen so she can safely show the kids how to cook. We decided on a miniature booth, with a gate to fill in the rest. She had a piece of fabric that she liked and so I made the cushions and then built the booth based on them. It was made all out of recycled wood, some maple, some walnut and some birch. The kids got to try it out this morning and I think they approve!
