My little worker bees.... So grateful my sisters are handy! They have been busy doing renos @Hillcrest while I hide in the IV lounge downstairs doing my consults ... I, on the other hand, am terrible at handy work and terrified of power tools . I much prefer the role of designer Cant wait for you all to see our final reveal! Ps. You will start to see more of my sisters (Diana and Esperanza) around the clinics as they are joining the administrative team . #whatlittlesistersarefor #familybusiness #pinkyandthebrain #notinthisalone #HereWeGrowAgain #renovation #rebirth2020 #20yearanniversary #owneroperator #gratitude

And then later that day after @pedalheads bikecamp, she had acquired a taste for speed and found a new set of wheels #stilltryingtomakegoodchoices #workingmom #childhood #joy #atleasttenmoreyearstogo

Socially distanced bike camp Not sure how these kids' psychology will be affected by the constant call of 'stay apart' but it's something. @pedalheads #summer #bikecamp #childhood #postcovidworld #momlife #makegoodchoices #joy #workingmom

I cut my hair instagram (and facebook) friends. ( Yup, still renovating the clinic) . . I have a chronic stress response that causes me to lose alot of hair. Periods of my life where I lost hair? My father/business partner got lung cancer and died which left me to run two #naturopathicclinics , being a mom to a newborn while being a entrepreneur and recently, this new round of stress brought on by our presently shifting economy and pandemic while being the primary caregiver i...n my family. . . Stress can cause weight gain, weight loss, low mood, mood swings, irritability, hair loss and more. Everybody's response is different. If you've reached the point where sleep is no longer restful then you need to figure out the imbalance. Your ''stress bucket'' is full! . . So, I cut my hair to make it healthier as my new baby hairs grow in. Yes, hair grows back. I treated myself with supplements, mental exercises and long walks. The luxury of having the knowledge of a naturopath. Yes, after that initial fear that gripped every business owner we are now doing well at my second home Hillcrest Centre For Health in Toronto on #stclairwest (If you haven't followed us, do! We have so many wonderful things coming up soon.) . . My area of focus is hormonal balance, perinatal health and skincare. What have I treated? Lots! #Stress, #digestion, #fibroids, #pcos, #infertility, #acne, #fertility issues #cancer and more! Every appointment where I hear the relief of patients whose treatment is helping them is heart warming. It's shocking how many people live with hormonal symptoms for years because their family doctor does not have the specific knowledge or does not want to test. There are also cases where they've been passed from doctor to doctor. I am there to be my parients' advocate. It is my privilege to educate patients on better lifestyle choices, eating habits and skincare/cleaning products to use. . . As my reputation spreads, I've accumulated quite a following ( offline *ahem* elder millenial) and I do have a waiting list I'm working through. Why do people wait to see me? Honestly, without sounding too proud: I care. This is what I was meant to do. #bethechange #naturopath See more
