If you haven’t already heard the great news, we have a medical grade heat recovery ventilator that gives us 12 air circulations per hour and negative pressure operatories. This device brings fresh air into the office and removes old air 12 times an hour and allows us to provide a cleaner air quality to our amazing patients and wonderful team members. If you need an appointment you could reach us at 705.264.9559. Have a great long weekend.
Happy Canada Day everyone We are closed for Canada Day and will be back to work on July 2nd. Stay safe and keep your social distancing.
happy weekend everyone.
As promised last week we have more amazing news to share with our wonderful family of patients. We are glad to welcome Dr. Erika Nakashoji to our dental practice. She will be joining us in July. Dr. Nakashoji is not only the newest member of our team, but she was also raised here in Timmins. She graduated from École Secondaire Catholique Thériault in 2014 and continued her studies at University of Montreal, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2020. She is ...fluent in both French and English and is happy to serve her patients in either language. She believes in providing the best individualized care for all her patients and is a member of the Ontario/Canadian Dental Association as well as the Timmins and District Dental Society. She is also the recipient of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship Award for a research project she completed during her studies. She is happy to be back in her hometown and is eager to give back to her community. Outside of the office, Dr. Nakashoji loves spending time outdoors with her family and of course with her dog Charlie and cat Oliver. You will also find her at the Kamiskotia Ski hill most weekends during winter months. She will be accepting new patients. You could call us at 705.264.9559 and book your appointment.
We are so excited to announce the addition of a brand new room to our office !!! Stay tuned!!! We have more exciting news to come.
We are glad to announce that we have received clearance from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario to proceed with treatment of non-emergency cases, regular checkups, and scalings. While many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protoc...ols. When we see you at your next appointment, things will be a little different. We will ask some screening questions before your appointment and you’ll be asked those same questions again when you’re in the office. Our staff will also measure your temperature with a touchless thermometer. You may be asked to wait outside our office or in your car and call us when you arrive and then wait for a call back to let you know when you can enter the office. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic. There are more dispensers around the office for you to use as needed. Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect. The chairs in the waiting room are now limited to create adequate distancing. Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment, but it will also reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. You may be surprised that we’re wearing more protective gear such as masks, face shields, gowns than we normally do during your visit. We have placed HEPA/UV filters in all rooms. Patients are also asked to rinse with a 1% Hydrogen Peroxide solution prior to the treatment . We have placed doors on our treatment room entrances that will be closed during aerosol generating procedures. We have installed plexiglass at our reception desk and you will find social distancing signs on the floors in the waiting room. We are also in the process of installations of a new ventilation system in our office to increase the air flow. Rest assured, all these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients and our team. We look forward to seeing you again. If you have any questions, please let us know. To make an appointment, call our office at 705.264.9559. Thank you for your patience and loyalty throughout this time. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back! Sincerely, Dr. Dibadin, Dr. Francis, and staff
To our wonderful patient community; We are very excited to hear that the Chief Medical Officer of Health has amended his directive, permitting us to gradually reopen! We are, however, awaiting further directions from our college, RCDSO, for the exact date and our back-to-work guidelines. We have been working very hard in the past months to equip our office with all safety measures and new devices to facilitate our reopening. We are glad to announce that we have all the requi...red PPE and social distancing measures already in place. Patients who were scheduled to be seen in mid-March will be scheduled first. We will keep you posted as we receive more information from our college. Stay tuned for more updates on some of the amazing news we have to share with you soon!! Looking forward to seeing you soon, Dr. Dibadin, Dr. Francis, and staff

New update regarding COVID-19 closure
Dear valued patients, Although there are currently no active cases of the COVID-19 virus in Timmins and the surrounding areas, we urge you to follow these recommendations: As per Ontario Public Health please call the clinic to reschedule your appointment outside of two weeks:... If you have a travel history to China, South Korea, Iran, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, Spain or the UK, or have been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 If you have any symptoms of a cold or flu, regardless of travel history In addition, we are implementing new measures to decrease the risk of exposure to our patients and their families: Effective immediately, the clinic treatment area will be restricted to patients only. We ask parents to wait in the waiting room. For new patient consultations we ask that the patient be accompanied by one adult only. Please do not bring siblings to the office. We ask that anyone entering our office use hand sanitizer or wash your hands with water and soap. As a dental office, we adhere to the protocols set out in the Infection Prevention and Control Standard mandated by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and Timmins Public Health Unit. This includes high-level sterilization, and the use of personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, and protective eyewear) to prevent the transmission of pathogens. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation. Dr. Dibadin, Dr. Francis, and staff
Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing ladies out there!
While photos of charcoal-stained smiles are taking social media by storm, dental professionals are warning that the products could be hurting more than they are helping.

Informative video on the addictive effects of uncontrolled sugar consumption! Let’s admit we all have been there! This helps to understand why we sometimes cannot stop the cravings.
