ESTROBOLOME What does the research say about the esgeobolome? The ESTROBOLOME is the microbiome of specialized bacteria that are responsible for the METABOLISM and DETOXIFICATION of ESTROGEN.... If you don’t have enough deconjugating bacteria in your gut you can get recirculating of estrogen, creating an estrogen excess in the body. I use @dxsolutionslab GI Map to test and investigate the microbiome in order to develop an individualized effective treatment plan for my patients to address heir GUT, HORMONES, and FERTILITY. ESTROBOLOME What does the research say about the ESTROBOLOME? The estrobolome is specialized gut bacteria that are responsible for the metabolism and detoxification of estrogen.... If there is insufficient deconjugating bacteria in your gut there isn’t enough metabolism of estrogen and it can recirculate in the body, leading to excess estrogen. When you have TOO MUCH ESTROGEN it can lead to: uterine fibroids and polyps endometrial hyperplasia heavy menstrual bleeding endometriosis ovarian cysts estrogenic sensitive cancers (breast and uterine) PCOS (relative estrogen dominance because of a progesterone deficiency) When you DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ESTROGEN it can lead to: premature ovarian failure vaginal dryness low energy low libido Testing and treating the GUT is an essential part of being a women’s health doctor and addressing HORMONES and FERTILITY. I use @dxsolutionslab and the GI Map to assess my patients’ gut health to create an individualized treatment plan to address digestive and hormone health.
