Cholesterol Does Not Cause Heart Disease http://flip.it/-rKg8A This is something I have been saying for years!... Elevated Cholesterol is not some single treatable cause of heart disease. Managing cholesterol is more about selling drugs and normalizing test results than it is about your health. This is more evidence that trusting currently held "medical beliefs not facts" is costing us huge in health and in money. We pay Medical Doctors HUGE money to feed people these kinds of drugs (statins) that don't help in most cases while we vilify the "Quacks" who try to get people to help themselves live a better life... It is a sad, disgusting state of affairs... Health is a complex three dimensional web where everything matters. The answer lies in what you choose to do, eat, feel and think everyday and how they interact with the genetic make up you inherited, mixed with a good sized dose of luck (good or bad). There are no easy solutions to a lifetime of bad choices. Same goes for our Health (Disease actually...) Care System... a great idea followed by a lifetime of bad choices. If you are actually badly injured or actually sick, your Medical Doctor should be able to help. It's the thing they are actually pretty good at. They are not so good at preventing lifestyle related diseases and it's time they started to admit that and let someone else who is better suited to it to help us all do a better job!!
