Both my machines are in the shop but I have borrowed a machine. Today I shall attack these two piles of fabric, creating facemasks. They are still required in so very many businesses. Let me know if you are wanting seasonal facemasks. I intend to make both fitted and pleated. Ear elastic and head elastic with a toggle. I will be sewing child and adult sizes.

I have had some requests for lanyards. I will not be making these as I do not believe them to be safe. "Lanyards that go around the neck and tie to the ear loops of the mask to keep people from losing or misplacing a mask are not recommended. This is because dangling a mask from your neck contaminates the mask, and encourages the wearer to touch, adjust and/or move the mask unnecessarily. My sew machine is in the fix it shop for its much needed autumn regular cleaning. Wayne from the sewing center says it will be a 3 week wait. I will be using a borrowed machine for now. I thank you for your patience. I will not be able to take on as many projects as I usually would until then.
