Elephant Island Winery in Naramata has graciously donated wine to our Respitality Program for many years. Caregivers who opt for a date night instead of an overnight stay get a bottle of their amazing local wine to add to an evening of entertainment and dining. This allows them to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy so they can continue to care for their special needs children with less risk of burnout. Thanks Elephant Island!!

The Pasta Factory has been a longstanding supporter of our Respitality program. We had a wonderful Family Get Together on Sunday. We split into two groups and had a session at a local organic apple orchard, Open View Organic Orchard. They taught us about Organic Farming techniques, pest and helpers. We went into the orchard and learned how to pick our own apples, and each family was able to fill a box. Then we enjoyed a cup of hot apple cider and apple chips! It was a wonderful day out spending time together. Thanks to Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen for funding our Family Get Togethers that mean so much to our families, and provide new experiences while allowing safe social interaction.

We had a great Family Get together at Safety Village in Sept! Small group, but lots of fun and connecting happened. Thanks to Penticton Safety Village for the partnership, and Tim Hortons for the yummy coffee, hot chocolate and donuts!! Enjoyed by all. All served up COVID style.
