Fuel to pull an all nighter to prepare for Xmas Eve! We are 100% fully booked up and cannot take anymore orders. Thank you so much to those who called early and if we can’t help you tomorrow we will catch you on Boxing Day when we reopen. Sorry in advance if we fall behind a little bit. We will be cooking for hundreds of families tomorrow and we start to run on fumes later in the battle Stay safe and we love you all, thanks again for all your support!

Friendly reminder that Xmas Eve is quickly approaching and is the busiest day of the year....along with New Years Eve and Day. DO NOT DELAY, make your order now or potentially miss out on ordering as we are ALWAYS fully-booked. We will most likely not take any more orders closer to the day. You can call before opening, after closing, leave a voicemail, or send a FB message and we will get back to you to book you in. Because of Covid, we won't be hiring the extra seasonal staf...f to ensure we have better staff-distancing, we won't over take orders to space out pickup times as we don't want customers crammed inside our restaurant while waiting. Again, please book your orders ASAP to have priority for your pickup time window. December Hours as per usual until... Dec 22-23- (no lunch) 4pm-7:30pm XMAS Eve.... 12pm - 7pm Christmas Day ... CLOSED Boxing Day 3pm - 7:00pm December 27... 3pm - 7pm Monday 28 ... CLOSED December 29/30...(no lunch)4pm - 7:30pm NYE....12pm - 7:00pm Jan 1.... 4pm - 7:30pm Jan 2....4pm - 7:30pm Jan 3....4pm - 7:30pm Jan 4 and on... as per usual hours

Friendly reminder, please call well in advance to pre-order. We are nearly half booked up for the weekend already! Holidays and long weekends are the most popular times to order Chinese takeout. For us to be on time for you or give your preferred time for pickup or delivery, call us ASAP to order gobble gobble!

We missed you!! After some rest, we feel great and ready to wok it up for you again As always, to avoid long waits, book your takeout and delivery orders well well well in advance as we are typically quite busy. Ordering at peak time will cause long waits while you’re already hungry!

Dear Dragon Yan fans, after much debate, we will not reopen our dining room for Phase 3. We will continue to offer our top quality freshly cooked dishes for takeout and delivery until we are sure things are safe. Please remember to call well in advance to book your orders as wait times can be long if you try to book an order during peak times. ... We truly miss doing dine in service as that’s the reason for expanding from Wee Wok. After one year of being open, people booked tables a week in advance and we were a full house everyday! But with feedback from our customers, our own personal opinions, and taking the advice of the experts, it just doesn’t make sense to take a huge risk and open up for dine in at this time. We hope you all understand and have your support. Hope to cook some amazing takeout and delivery for you soon!

At Dragon Yan and Wee Wok, we have a new saying.... Weekdays are like the weekend and weekends are like the holidays. Meaning it’s busy alllllll the time! Sorry for sounding like a broken record, but we can’t thank you enough for supporting our restaurants and keeping us busy during the pandemic. It’s 4:15am and we are still prepping away for Friday... don’t know when we will sleep lol... While at battle, the kitchen is 41 degrees Celsius in front of the woks and at least 35 everywhere else. We endure this heat and pressure with a smile! All we ask is for some patience as fresh food from our kitchens are prepared to order. We wish we could buy premade food to reheat quickly, but then you wouldn’t experience the magic in our dishes! We used to say prebook in advance for the big days, but these days, it’s best to prebook hours in advance or the day before as everyday feels like a big day. Forgive us if you can’t get through on the line at peak times, just call ahead to beat the rush and we will do our best for you! Sorry for the ramble! Maybe it’s time to sleep now see you soon!

We love you so much! We haven’t even recovered from last weekends Mother’s Day, the phone has been ringing off the hook for this upcoming long weekend! Calling in at peak time or last minute will likely cause a very very long wait for you. if we don’t pick up, we are on the other line taking an order. Pleaseleave a message on our answering machine, We will get back to you ASAP. Stay safe!

Dragon Yan 25.08.2020

We love all you moms! However I believe we are fully booked up for the evening. Try your luck and give us a call. If we can we can, if we can’t we are so sorry. Take care everyone!

4:40am... just finished prepping for Mother’s Day the crazy hours are real to prep for these days and I don’t know how we do it ..... heads up, we are nearly booked to capacity and we expect 300-500 calls tomorrow. We will only be able to accept a few more. Mother’s Day, is the busiest day of the year next to Xmas eve and nye!! If you’re very flexible with pickup times or able to accept your delivery that will most likely be late, please text 705-808-3338 and I’ll get ba...ck to your asap to make arrangements. We are bombarded with orders on email, Twitter, Facebook and our phone is ringing every two seconds. Texting will be the best way to get a faster answer. If we cannot get to your order, we are so sorry. We always recommend placing orders at least a week in advance or more on the big days. We will take as many last minute orders if you call our restaurant today but please forgive us if we cannot give your preferred time or late for your delivery.... hundreds of orders already booked and we’ve been working 15-17 hours a day to keep up. Sleep time, back in three hours to get ready!!

PM Trudeau, you’re doing a great job! To all our customers far and wide, stay healthy and safe. Thank you to all that remain at work to keep our city going at this difficult time. ... We at Dragon Yan are open for take out and delivery. We clean and sanitize our reception area after every single customers leaves. We practice social distancing and continue to cook the freshest and healthiest Chinese good in PTBO. Don’t hesitate to call when you’re hungry, take care for now.

Starting on Tuesday March 17, 2020, we will not be offering dine in service until further notice. Takeout and delivery will continue to be offered until the government instructs us to completely halt service. Please plan ahead and order in advance to avoid a long wait at the restaurant. Just like Xmas Eve or NYE, call in advance so when you come pick up, it should be in and out. We will have hand sanitizer at our counters and you can rest assured that our staff will increase... our sanitizing of high touch areas. As with all local businesses during this difficult time, we don't know how many staff we should schedule, don't know how much supply to prepare for the day and don't even know if there will be a lockdown coming up. Do we remain open regular hours, reduce hours or make the decision to close? For now, Dragon Yan is committed to give our customers the option for a high quality freshly cooked meal at our unbeatable prices until we learn more about what to do. If you have any concerns, questions or special requests for your take out or delivery, please email us at [email protected], send us a facebook message, or call us at 705-750-1888. We will do our best to accommodate your order during this uncertain time. From our family to yours, take care for now. PtboCanada

Just finally recovered after the crazy holiday season of December and now it’s Chinese New Year! We have many orders already pre-booked for the weekend. Just like Xmas Eve/NYE/NYD, please call well in advance and pre-book your orders! Gung Hay Fat Choi!!!

2:05am jan 2....just sitting down to eat dinner now lol. Thanks again for an amazing 2019 and a crazy start to 2020. Sincere apologies to those who had a long wait on takeout orders and dine in service on NYD... Our system of preordering well in advance is a must. Xmas eve, NYE, everyone called weeks in advance and we could plan for the war with little delays. NYD... everyone called at the same peak time and it was very difficult to judge the time and adjust to all the subs...titutions and allergies etc... resulting in long delays We learned a lot last year and 2020 will be the best ever. We will work out the kinks and make the best even better! Love you all!

Happpppy new year!!! Chef Ron here.... fun fact: my Chinese name is Chun-Sai.... my full name, Kam Chun-Sai means golden intensity in the west! I hope you feel our food intensity and enjoy what we do! We didn’t do a count down, we worked a crazzzzzy NYE and will work through the night to do NYD! No complaints, just happy you love our food and we love you! PS: after cooking 10 billion dishes through the holidays, my arm is feeling strong Chinese chefs always joke: to get fit, you don’t need the gym. You need to work in a Chinese restaurant lol
