The time of year is coming up where your teeth might feel sensitive to the cold air. Try a sensitivity toothpaste, such as #sensodyne , which helps block the tubules to the nerve of the tooth. If they are REALLY sensitive, try a fluoride application at our office, the fluoride will help strengthen the enamel and prevent sensitivity due to the exposed dentin. ... If all else fails, come see Dr. Earmme or Dr. Jung. #brr #coldweather #coldair #sensitivity
Your hygienist suggests these steps when performing your oral hygiene routine: 1. Rinse (remove food and debris) 2. Floss (remove further debris between your teeth) 3. Brush (at least 2 minutes) 4. Rinse (with a fluoride mouthwash) ... Do this at home and you’ll get an A+ at your next hygiene visit!

Do your kids have sealants on their teeth? Dental sealants are a thin coating placed on the chewing surfaces of the teeth, usually the molars, to prevent decay and protect the teeth. Children aged 6 - 11 years are eligible and the appointment takes approx. 50 minutes, give us a call to book!
DYK: celery is good for your teeth! As you chew celery, it cleans your teeth and massages your gums. Chewing the celery will produce saliva and it helps neutralize bacteria in your mouth!
Plaque is a soft sticky film that builds up on your teeth. It has millions of bacteria that can cause the tooth to decay if not removed by brushing and flossing. If left too long, plaque can harden into calculus, and that can only be removed by a hygienist. Call to book your oral hygiene appointment today!

The sound of the dental drill is never a pleasant sound. If it makes you anxious, bring your headphones and let your favourite songs drown out the noise.
