In light of the opioid crisis options for pain management have become a common topic among medical professionals. Scientists and John Hopkins University have discovered more about the way our hearing develops. It seems to be related to a fine balance of 2 specific proteins. Too much or too little of either and the hair cells develop in a chaotic and non-functional way. Hair cells are responsible for detecting sound waves and transmitting them to our nervous system. These cells must develop in a specific way in order to be functional. It has been very busy at the clinic and sometimes it can be hard to put together a full meal at the end of a long day. Good food is so important to keep us go strong. Last night was a combo hot and cold salad of left over veggies, apple and sprouts, it only took 15 min to make and it sure hit the spot.
