This is a really interesting example of something that we tell our injectable rhinoplasty patients all the time, but it's nice to show it pictorially. Injectable rhinoplasty typically lasts 9-12 months, on average. However, in many folks, successive treatments can lead to the result lasting longer overtime. In this case, this patient had 4 treatments between 2017 and 2019. The first photo is before any treatments. The second photo is 12 months after her last treatment. ... Notice how the result is still mostly there, even 1 year later! She came in just looking for a bit more of a tweak, to get the bump hidden a touch more, and to have the tip lifted to create a bit of a scoop. The third photo is immediately after treatment (with a bit of swelling present). Been a while since I've posted some results. Missed you Instagram! Here's an example of a very common rhinoplasty that we perform: large bump, droopy tip, overall large/long nose. The interesting thing in this patient's case, and with many of my patients in general, is that she didn't want a nose that is "very small". This patient is the cutest. Very sweet, and she was super nervous! She has petite facial features, but she felt her nose just didn’t match the rest of her face. She definitely didn’t want a scoopy profile or a too-pointy tip, just something that looked natural and suited her face.
